Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and maintained to health and safety standards
- Restock cleaning supplies and amenities as needed to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and consistency
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and completed tasks
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, and bending
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
