Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and garden care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators under supervision to support construction and site preparation activities
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Go out on site to assist construction workers with building jobs
- Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and setting up work sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures diligently to promote a secure workplace for everyone involved
Skills
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining tools and small machinery
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment such as excavators is preferred
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and their upkeep
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools effectively
- Prior construction experience is advantageous for understanding site workflows
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
