ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Youth Mentor to support young people aged 16–24 as they take their next steps into employment, education, training, apprenticeships, or volunteering.
You will: Provide one‑to‑one mentoring Deliver employability and personal development sessions Create personalised action plans Work with employers, training providers, and community partners
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience working with young people aged 16–24 Ability to build positive, trusted relationships Confidence delivering mentoring, coaching, or employability support Organised, proactive, and passionate about helping young people succeed Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and opportunity for all
ROLE DETAILS
Salary: £26,000–£30,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week (flexible working considered)
Location: Harrogate
Contract: 12‑month fixed term, subject to funding and extension
