Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Improver/Mate to support our electrical team on various projects. This role involves assisting qualified electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks within commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities
- Assist qualified electricians with installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to support electrical tasks.
- Help in wiring, conduit installation, and cable management as directed by senior electricians.
- Support the organisation and preparation of materials and equipment required for electrical works.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Follow instructions accurately to ensure compliance with technical standards and safety procedures.
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues under supervision, gaining practical experience in diagnostics.
Qualifications
- Basic electrical experience or relevant training recognised within the industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, etc.
- Experience with power tools used in electrical installations (drills, saws, etc.) is desirable.
- Strong willingness to learn from experienced electricians and develop technical skills.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely in a team environment and follow health & safety protocols.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates willing to learn on the job.

Pay: £21.00-£23.10 per hour
