Field Service Engineer – Recycling Machinery

£45,000 - £50,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime (OTE £60,000+)
We are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well established specialist in recycling machinery.
This is a field based role covering customer sites across the UK, so you must be comfortable with 3–4 nights away per week.
You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, installation and repair of recycling machinery including: balers, compactors, shredders, conveyors, separators
Duties will include:
- Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault finding
- Servicing, repairs and breakdown response
- Installing and commissioning new equipment
- Refurbishments and rebuild work
- Completing service reports and customer documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Plant Fitter
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability
- Confident working with hydraulics, motors, gearboxes, sensors and control systems
- Experience with plant, agricultural, industrial or heavy machinery
- NVQ / Apprenticeship / equivalent engineering qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable with UK-wide travel and overnight stays
