Job Description
ROSELLA INTERIORS is a boutique interior design studio specialising in high-end residential interiors. We are seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Technical Interior Design Assistant to support project delivery, technical drawings, site coordination, and day-to-day studio operations.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced and growing design studio, ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and organisational side of interior design. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organisational skills are absolutely essential for this role and are considered non-negotiable.
This is a part-time position (approximately 16–24 hours per week) with flexibility and hybrid working. Candidates should be able to attend site visits, installations, and meetings as required. A full UK driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous but are not essential.

Role & Responsibilities
Technical & Design Support
- Conducting accurate site surveys and measurements
- Producing and updating floor plans
- Preparing lighting, electrical, and reflected ceiling layouts
- Producing technical elevations, joinery drawings, and drawing packages
- Supporting design development and space planning
Project Coordination
- Assisting with ordering, procurement, and supplier coordination
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Supporting installations, site visits, and project handovers
- Monitoring project schedules, specifications, and sample libraries
- Assisting with project administration across multiple live projects
Studio Operations
- Organising project files, drawing registers, and documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and version control of project information
- Managing schedules, samples, specifications, and general studio resources
- Supporting general studio administration and secretarial tasks
Experience / Education / Qualifications
- Ideally 1–3 years' experience in residential interior design or a similar technical design role
- Graduates with strong technical abilities and relevant software skills are encouraged to apply
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or Vectorworks is essential
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable
- Excellent spatial awareness and design sensibility
- Ability to produce accurate technical drawing packages
- Experience conducting site measurements and translating survey information into technical drawings
- Understanding of residential construction, detailing, and interior architecture principles is advantageous
