Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and approachable Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities
- Manage entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorisations for staff, and visitors
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols, including administering first aid when required
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
- Enforce safety policies and conduct regular patrols to identify potential hazards or security breaches
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors professionally while maintaining a vigilant security presence
Qualifications
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring
- Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with staff, visitors, and emergency responders
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly in emergency situations
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts
- Previous experience working as a door supervisor within the nightlife trade
- Must have a Door supervision licence
- DBS (Standard or Enhanced)
