Summary
The Coppice School is a thriving school in South Ribble between Leyland and Preston. We have 68 pupils on roll aged between 2 - 19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant 2B to join our happy and dedicated staff team. The interview will assess your suitability to work with children and include questions relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a prorata basis.

Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification, appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy

- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
- Experience of Administrative work
Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
