Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, including <PERSON> driver trucks, to deliver furniture and large items to various locations
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture, utilizing proper lifting techniques to handle heavy items
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate delivery times and address any concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report maintenance needs, and adhere to all safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and inventory records
- Support warehouse activities as needed, including moving stock within storage areas
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with handling large or bulky items
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for commercial driving
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move items throughout the workday

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
