Duties
· To build a relationship with residents
· To identify residents’ special needs
· To establish work routines that help residents with their daily activities
· To support residents in their activities of daily living
· To assist residents with their hobbies and recreational interests
· To provide physical, emotional and social support and be sensitive to their changing needs eg medical, therapeutic, psychological and spiritual
· To liaise with family and health care providers
· To note and report any unusual incidents to the nurse in charge
· To chaperone residents when required
· To observe and practise the principles of health and safety within the working environment
· To learn and understand the principles and practise of fire procedures (eg drills/evacuation)
· To record daily notes on the PCS System and ensure they are updated before taking breaks
· To maintain confidentiality
To attend training and development activities relevant to your role
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.02-£13.27 per hour
