We are looking for hard-working, reliable and experienced Handymen to join our team on a self-employed basis, carrying out a wide range of property repairs and maintenance jobs across London.
The Role
You will be responsible for attending properties daily and completing a variety of maintenance and repair works, including:
- Painting and decorating
- Carpentry and joinery
- Plumbing repairs
- General handyman works
- Basic electrical repairs and maintenance
- Property repairs and maintenance
- General snagging and finishing works
You will be required to travel throughout London, so a flexible approach to travel and a strong work ethic are essential.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Handyman or Maintenance Operative
- Competent across multiple trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing and general repairs
- Electrical experience is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work independently and manage a daily workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Own tools suitable for general maintenance work
- Right to work in the UK
- Self-employed status
Vehicle
A company van is available for weekly hire for suitable candidates.
Alternatively, you must be able to provide your own suitable van for carrying out the work.
