Norton Insurance Brokers Ltd are looking for a skilled proactive Credit Controller to join our busy finance team.

The role:
As a Credit Controller you will play a crucial role in managing and collecting debts from our clients, ensuring the company maintains a healthy cashflow. You will build strong relationships with internal and external business partners, to resolve payment queries and support the wider finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Debt collection for Norton, TIFCO (our inhouse finance company) & PCL (external finance company)
- Administration of TIFCO loans - ensuring signed documents are received from clients; preparation of AUDDIS and DD collection files; processing ADDACS & ARUDD reports
- Preparation of TIFCO PnL
- Processing PCL receipts into EPIC (insurance ledger)
- Processing TIFCO payments across internal systems
- Receipting card payments in EPIC cashbook
- Weekly Debt reporting
- Liaising with external debt collection agencies - referring cases when escalation necessary; liaising with agency to progress collections; reporting on agency progress
- Processing refunds - money to client bank/credit cards; preparing bank payments for authorisation; updating inhouse system with refund information
- Daily bank recs for TIFCO
- Supporting on Client Money Account reconciliations & receipting
- Assisting in other Finance tasks when necessary

- Experience of EPIC (insurance ledger) and Quick books accounting system or similar
What you’ll need:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Credit Controller role, ideally within the insurance sector
- A minimum GCSE at grade C/4 in Maths and English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A desire to enter a dynamic and values driven work environment
