An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead a well established residential care service with a long standing and well respected care provider.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and ambitious Manager for Durham House Residential Care Home, our 31 bed care home in Chester–le-Street, County Durham.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Registered Care Home Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready for their next challenge.
- A proven record of achieving outstanding outcomes within adult social care.
- Robust practical knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality assurance.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete if required).
- Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
- A passion for continuous improvement and developing high-performing teams.
- Commercial awareness, including occupancy growth and budget management.
- Ability to drive and access to a car.
