Lisburn is an important centre for engineering, construction and technical services, and at Aresforti Lift Engineering Ltd, we apply practical expertise and careful project coordination to every lift installation and modernisation programme.
We provide lift engineering services for commercial, residential and public sector buildings across Northern Ireland. Our work includes new installations, modernisation projects, technical upgrades and ongoing engineering support.
We are looking for a Project Engineer who can coordinate lift engineering activities, manage technical documentation and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and on schedule.
You will work closely with project managers, lift engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and building representatives. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, organising project activity and supporting work from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Coordinate lift engineering activities across installation, modernisation and upgrade projects. Monitor schedules, resources, technical requirements and project priorities.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare and review drawings, specifications, method statements, risk assessments, progress reports and project records.
Site Support:
Attend project sites, monitor installation progress and help resolve technical or operational issues.
Design and Specification Review:
Review lift layouts, technical specifications and supplier documentation to confirm compliance with project requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate with clients, building managers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams regarding progress, access requirements, technical queries and project updates.
Quality and Compliance:
Support inspections, testing and documentation to ensure work meets company procedures, industry standards and safety requirements.
Supplier and Material Coordination:
Assist with equipment orders, delivery schedules, component tracking and supplier communication.
Health and Safety:
Promote safe working practices and ensure project activities follow relevant site rules and company safety procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in lift engineering, project engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical environment.
Qualifications:
A degree, diploma or recognised technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Technical Knowledge:
A good understanding of lift systems, engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical components, technical specifications and project documentation.
Project Skills:
Experience coordinating engineering projects, supporting contractors and managing technical tasks from planning through completion.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients and project stakeholders.
Software Skills:
Confidence using Microsoft Office and project management software. Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project or similar technical tools would be an advantage.
Driving Requirements:
A valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel to project sites when required.

Pay: £50,038.00-£55,000.00 per year
