About the Role
YZILL is an independent jewellery and spiritual lifestyle business offering unique jewellery inspired by symbolism, spirituality and the meanings of semi-precious stones.
We are looking for a confident, friendly and reliable Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our team.
This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people, has a natural ability to sell and has an interest in jewellery, crystals, semi-precious stones and spirituality.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with customers
- Understand what customers are looking for and recommend suitable pieces
- Confidently turn customer conversations into sales
- Learn and share the meanings, symbolism and stories behind our jewellery
- Process sales and carry out general shop duties
- Maintain attractive and well-presented displays
- Help create social media content, including simple photos and videos
- Assist with product listings across our online selling channels
- Help keep online products and stock information up to date
- Respond to basic online customer enquiries
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident, outgoing and comfortable approaching customers
- Naturally sales-focused and enjoys achieving sales
- Friendly, positive and able to build genuine connections with customers
- Reliable and comfortable working independently
- Interested in spirituality, crystals, semi-precious stones, symbolism or holistic wellbeing
- Comfortable using social media and digital platforms
- Flexible and available for some weekend work
Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
Knowledge of crystals, semi-precious stones and their meanings or spiritual properties would be a strong advantage.
Experience with social media, e-commerce or online selling platforms would also be an advantage.
