Purpose of Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented SEO Content Executive to join our growing digital team. This is an exciting opportunity to craft engaging, SEO-driven content across our flower and hamper brands while helping shape and enhance our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake keyword and AI prompt research to shape our content approach using SEMRush and Otterly
- Create SEO-focused copy including product descriptions, category copy, meta descriptions, titles and blog content across our websites.
- Develop a clear and consistent brand tone across all written content.
- Brainstorm engaging content ideas both independently and in collaboration with the team.
- Support the SEO Manager in reviewing and adapting copywriting strategies using data from GA4, GSC and Webmaster tools.
- Contribute to competitor analysis to identify opportunities and insights.
- Proactively share suggestions to improve our content offering and creation process.
- Learn to leverage AI-powered tools and technology to support content creation and increase efficiency.
- Suggest improvements and approve Digital PR articles across multiple brands.
- Work collaboratively with wider teams, including Digital PR, Technical and Paid Search.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Education or experience in journalism, English language/literature, or a related field.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong collaboration skills and a desire to work with others in a team environment.
- A working knowledge of uploading content into a website’s CMS.
- An understanding of SEO and how to incorporate best practices into copywriting (desirable but not essential).
- Familiarity with key content and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).
- Interest in web analytics, with the ability to use data to back up recommendations.
- A genuine interest in marketing trends and a desire to apply them to our services.
Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
