We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, and dedicated individual to join our team in the Transport and Logistics division as a Driver moving between 7.5tonne and 3.5tonne vehicles.
Initial duties will include:
· Collection and potential loading of products at depot.
· Multi-drop deliveries based on a suggested route plan direct to customers.
· Unloading of products at customer sites (trolley provided although hand balling may be required at times).
· Obtaining customer signatures on delivery notes.
· Maintaining notes on deliveries / handling of delivery paperwork.
· Updating the office with any requirements to your vehicle as and when required.
· Daily Vehicle checks to ensure vehicle is legal and drivable.
The successful driver should have:
· Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines and pressures from customers and expected delivery dates.
· Team player, Good at communication, Attention to detail, Willingness to learn.
· You should hold the relevant licences.
· Flexible approach to work.
· Be the face of the company when out delivering for us.
A good geographical knowledge is essential along with a clean driving licence and relevant CPC qualification
General hours of work are 45-55 hours per week (Monday – Friday) however there will be some requirements for outside of these hours therefore flexibility is key. The majority of our drivers are on the road between 4am and 6am
