Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to the child, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child's dietary needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up toys, clothing, and play areas
- Follow the family's daily schedule and routines consistently to foster stability
- Communicate regularly with parents about the child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
- Assist with light household tasks related to the child's care, such as laundry or organizing supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider with references demonstrating reliability and dedication
- Strong understanding of child development principles and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents
- Ability to engage children in educational and recreational activities that stimulate growth
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or special family needs
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- A positive attitude with patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
