Barback
Key Responsibilities
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, including alcohol, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and bar equipment.
- Organise and rotate stock to minimize waste and breakage.
- Collect empty glasses, bottles, and trash from bar and washing glassware.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Support bartenders and management with any additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous barback, bar, or hospitality experience preferred but not required (training provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Bartender
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and venue standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Check customer identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and surfaces.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, balancing register and tips at the end of shift.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown before and after service.
- Work collaboratively with barbacks, servers, security, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven bartending experience in a nightclub, bar, or high-volume hospitality environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Flexibility to work late nights / weekends and key events such as: New Years, Halloween, Pride and bank holidays.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.71 per hour
