Main Purpose of The Position:
Advanced Level Engineers have critical theoretical and technical knowledge, and they mentor and coach others within the team. They are consultants within their specialism, providing innovative improvements in complex and unpredictable situations.
Job Summary:
Support operators with relevant quality standards in line with production needs.
Core Duties:
Coach and mentor Entry/intermediate Level colleagues through on-the-job training requirements, e.g., supporting competency matrices requirements
Support NPI meetings where necessary
Manage measurement resource & capacity to ensure business needs are met
Champion CI & 5s activity
Organizing calibration & maintenance of all metrology equipment
Adherence to H&S guidelines
Min Requirement for Role Attainment:
Ability to use unsupervised all measurement software currently in use (Axel, PCDMIS, Polyworks or Camio)
Ability to use unsupervised all measurement hardware currently in use at relevant site (ITP, Hexagon, Roamer Arm, LK or Handyscan)
Formal training in GD&T
Formal training in SPC & R&R
Demonstrable people management experience, if external to Sertec
Pay: £17.94 per hour
