Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chambermaid/Cleaner to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous hotel or janitorial experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items as required
- Assist with laundry duties when necessary and ensure linen is handled properly
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service
