a forward thinking and aspirational senior leadership team
enthusiastic and hard working pupils
a welcoming and friendly school with a commitment to developing your skills
consistently high and improving standards
a fully supportive, knowledgeable, active and accessible Governing Body.
This is a key role within the school and the successful candidate will have the relevant qualifications and/or experience of organisational compliance, and health and safety, within a busy working environment.
Key duties will include:
ensure the school remains compliant in all relevant legal and statutory responsibilities for health and safety
updating relevant policies and all site-based (not pupil specific) risk assessments
acting as the main point of contact with the Council’s health and safety/compliance teams, and the Facilties Management provider
monitor accident and incident reporting systems, identify trends, and report to these to the Senior Management Team
lead on pre-employment checks and administrative duties

support the SMT with the planning and organisation of staff INSET and routine/regular training.
