EnGlow Education is seeking exceptional STEM tutors in the UK to join our growing tutoring team.
We work with ambitious students who are preparing for highly competitive universities in the UK, US, and internationally. We are looking for tutors who can combine deep subject expertise with excellent communication skillsand who understand what it takes to help high-achieving students excel academically.
The Role
We are seeking tutors with substantial experience teaching A-level and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) STEM subjects.
Subjects may include:
- Mathematics
- Further Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Computer Science
- Other advanced STEM subjects
Tutors will work primarily with academically ambitious secondary-school students, helping them develop a deep understanding of their subjects, prepare for examinations, and become confident, independent learners.
Requirements
Essential:
- Significant experience teaching A-level and/or IB students
- Strong academic background in your subject area
- Excellent command of spoken English
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly
- Experience working with high-achieving or academically ambitious students
- Strong understanding of the relevant A-level or IB curriculum and examination requirements
- Professionalism, reliability, and excellent communication
Particularly desirable:
- Experience teaching students applying to Oxbridge or other highly selective UK universities
- Experience with university admissions or academic mentoring
- A degree from a highly regarded university
- Experience teaching multiple levels of difficulty within your subject
- Ability to challenge exceptionally strong students rather than simply teach to the curriculum
- Experience working with international students

Location & Schedule
- UK-based
- Remote tutoring
- Flexible schedule
- Part-time, with the possibility of ongoing work with individual students
- Sessions generally take place outside school hours and on weekends
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and subject expertise.
