We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our established solo children's residential home supporting a young person with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and complex needs.
Having been successfully established for almost two years, the home recently achieved a Good Ofsted rating, reflecting the quality of care, leadership, and outcomes provided. We are now seeking a motivated leader who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care and supporting young people to reach their full potential.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and continued development of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained.
You will:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated residential care team
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards
- Promote positive outcomes and life opportunities for the young person in placement
- Drive a child-centred culture focused on therapeutic and trauma-informed care
- Lead safeguarding practices and maintain a safe, nurturing environment
- Manage recruitment, supervision, performance management, and staff development
- Monitor quality assurance processes and implement continuous improvements
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, families, and partner agencies
- Manage budgets and ensure effective operational performance
- Continue building on the home's recent Good Ofsted judgement with a view towards achieving Outstanding

Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working within Children's Residential Care
- At least 1 year's experience in a leadership role within a children's residential setting (Team Leader, Senior Residential Support Worker, Deputy Manager, or Registered Manager)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards if not already achieved
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, children's legislation, and Ofsted requirements
- Experience supporting children with EBD and complex needs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
