Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant/Receptionist to provide comprehensive administrative support and serve as the first point of contact for our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in office software, and demonstrate strong organisational abilities. Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls and greet visitors with professional phone etiquette and courteous demeanour
- Act as greeter and host when required on wedding and event days
- Handle scheduling, calendar management, and appointment coordination using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date records
- Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and organising documents
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Support bookkeeping activities including invoicing and expense tracking using QuickBooks/Xero
- Maintain an organised reception area and ensure a welcoming environment for clients and visitors
- Coordinate meetings, organise agendas, and take minutes when necessary
- Handle mail distribution and manage office supplies inventory to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Proven administrative experience or previous office support role is preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks/xero accounting software is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs) is essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in data entry, clerical work, or office administration is desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills are required
Working Hours:
Shift length and start/finish times may vary and will be adjusted to suit the business needs. Hours will usually be between 08:00 and 18:30.
Please be aware that working days are Monday-Sunday (dependant on weddings and event days)

Pay: £26,325.00 per year
