Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated carer to help with a client in Islington and also Newham in need of assistance with daily living activities, shopping, washing and going on outings. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings and home care.
This role involves working closely with the client and their family. The client has specific health conditions such and we need a carer to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, and getting ready
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, senior care.
- Standard Carer qualifications
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and patient care practices is essential.
- Certification in first aid is preferred; additional training in nursing or caregiving is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
- A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients when necessary.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support to those in need.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £15.00 per hour
