We’re a friendly local business needing someone to join us for our busy season. Great chance to stay on long-term if it’s a good fit!
What you’ll do:
Cook tasty food to our standards, keep things clean & tidy, work some evenings & weekends.
You are:
Reliable, can handle a rush, got some kitchen experience, happy to muck in as part of a team, and be able to work independently.

Duties
- Prepare a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, mixing, seasoning, and assembling ingredients
- Follow established recipes and food safety standards to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Support kitchen operations during busy service hours, coordinating with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Maintain organized workstations, ensuring all tools and ingredients are properly stored and sanitized
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas based on culinary trends and customer preferences
- Serve food to guests when required, providing friendly and efficient customer service
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary equipment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and assist team members effectively
- Prior experience in meal preparation, serving, or restaurant operations is highly desirable
