Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves performing precise welding and fabrication tasks to construct, repair, and modify metal components and structures. Duties
- Execute MIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate metal parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate construction and assembly.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot welding issues and optimize fabrication processes.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and hand tools to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills for precise cuts and assemblies.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated components into finished products or structures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality welds.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and familiarity with local safety regulations.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal work, mechanical principles, and basic math for measurements.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills related to fabrication challenges.
- Prior experience in assembly processes is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
