Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Tradesperson Labourer to join our dynamic team in. This role is vital in supporting various construction, maintenance, and renovation projects by performing hands-on tasks that require technical skill, physical endurance, and a proactive attitude. As a Tradesperson Labourer, you will work closely with tradespeople and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction, repair, and maintenance tasks across multiple sites.
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing tools, and setting up equipment to ensure smooth workflow.
- Handle materials delivery, storage, and inventory management to support project needs.
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Support installation activities such as framing, drywalling, painting, or flooring as directed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or manual labour roles is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction or maintenance work.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset; certification in WHMIS or OSHA safety standards is a plus.
