Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic software
- Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs undertaken
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company political
- Collaborate with other team members to optimise maintenance schedules and procedures
- Keep the workshop clean, organised, and stocked with necessary parts and tools
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred
- Valid UK driving licence is desirable for on-site repairs and installations
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £30,197.96-£51,078.71 per year
