We're looking for an Energy Efficiency Surveyor to join our Asset team and play a key role in delivering energy efficiency and low-carbon improvement programmes across our homes. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical expertise to help reduce carbon emissions, improve energy performance, and create healthier, more comfortable homes so our customers can thrive.

Working closely with customers, contractors, consultants and colleagues, you'll help identify the best energy solutions for our homes and oversee projects from initial survey through to successful completion.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll be carrying out surveys, developing programmes of work, managing contracts and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Most importantly, you'll help ensure our customers are supported and informed throughout the process, delivering improvements that make a lasting difference to their homes and wellbeing.
What you'll be doing

Surveying existing homes to identify properties that are suitable for energy efficiency and low-carbon retrofit improvements.

Working closely with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Providing technical advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

Monitoring project performance, managing risks and driving continuous improvement.

Building positive relationships with customers and ensuring they remain informed and supported throughout their energy efficiency journey.

Ensure properties are prioritised for meeting energy-efficiency standards without compromising performance.
What you’ll need:

A qualification in a building-related discipline.

Knowledge of energy efficiency projects, PAS 2035, SAP and EPC standards.

Experience managing contracts, consultants and contractors.

Strong project management and cost monitoring skills
-
Knowledge of relevant construction, housing and building regulations.
-
Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.

The ability to identify risks, find solutions and manage competing priorities

Full UK driving licence
