Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of cocktails and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The right candidate will get the opportunity to take the role of a supervisor and managing all duties.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments efficiently.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, promoting repeat business.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Good time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
- Personal presentation that reflects the high standards of our establishment.
