Music Lecturer
We are looking for a Music Lecturer to join our team. This is a 28 hours per week, permanent role offering a salary of £25,128 to £34,752 per annum.

Job Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- To carry out formal scheduled teaching, academic tutorials and assessments. To include the preparation of learning materials, students’ assignments and to support students in their studies both during scheduled teaching sessions and during periods of self-directed study.
- Marking of students’ work and examinations, internal moderation and verification, as part of the team.
- To manage and maintain appropriate programmes, College records and quality systems to ensure high performance.
- Management and supervision of student educational visit programmes.
- To work with and lead students, tutors, other departments and external organisations such as schools, Higher Education Institutions and Awarding Bodies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree qualification and/or experience in Music.
- Hold or commit to achieving a full-recognised teaching qualification within two years.
- Level 2 English/literacy and Maths/numeracy.
- Successful experience of teaching Music (including performance, composition, theory and technology/production, etc.).
- Experience planning and delivering vocational qualifications.
