Teaching Assistant – Hastings Alternative Provision
Pink Tile Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a small alternative provision in Hastings supporting pupils who are currently unable to manage in mainstream school.
This Hastings provision works with pupils who may have experienced exclusions, disrupted education, low attendance, SEMH needs, anxiety or behaviour that can escalate when they feel overwhelmed. The school needs a Teaching Assistant who can build trust quickly, stay calm when things are difficult and help pupils feel safe enough to re-engage with learning.
You will be working with pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, supporting behaviour, confidence, routines and learning. This is a very hands-on Hastings Teaching Assistant role where relationships matter more than worksheets.
This specific Hastings school would suit someone from a background in education, youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring, residential support or behaviour support.
Temporary, permanent and temp-to-permanent opportunities are available for the right Teaching Assistant.
