Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leisure Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our recreational facilities. In this role, you will ensure that all areas, including swimming pools, locker rooms, and common spaces, are spotless, safe, and inviting for our members and guests. Your proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming environment that promotes health, safety, and enjoyment for everyone who visits.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of leisure areas such as gyms, swimming pools, locker rooms, lounges, and corridors using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas regularly.
- Ensure all waste is properly disposed of and recycling procedures are followed.
- Restock supplies such as, toiletries, cleaning materials, and other amenities as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work within leisure or hospitality environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning supplies throughout shifts.
- Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks within scheduled hours.
- Friendly attitude with a commitment to providing a positive experience for visitors and staff alike.

Pay: £12.71-£17.70 per hour
