Trainee Account Manager

We're looking for an ambitious and motivated Trainee Account Manager to join The Jubilee Mint in Bournemouth.
No previous sales experience is required. We're looking for someone who has the ambition to build a career in sales, with the drive, resilience and motivation to develop their skills and succeed in a performance-focused environment where strong performance is generously rewarded.
You'll start on £26,000 basic + uncapped commission, with the opportunity to achieve three pay rises within your first 12 months as you progress through our structured training programme.
You'll be responsible for generating sales, working towards targets and taking ownership of your performance. Success in the role requires resilience, commitment and the determination to keep improving.

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset (BH8 8EZ) – office-based
Salary: £26,000 basic + uncapped commission
Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–5:45pm | Friday 9:00am–3:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role
This is a sales role where you'll develop your skills, generate revenue and be rewarded for your performance.
You'll learn how to identify opportunities, have commercially focused conversations, handle objections and take ownership of the sales process from initial contact through to completion.
You'll:
- Speak with existing customers, previous purchasers and new enquiries
- Build customer relationships that generate sales and repeat business
- Identify opportunities and generate sales
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Introduce new releases and exclusive collections
- Manage the sales process through to close
- Develop your upselling and cross-selling skills
Training & Progression
You don't need previous knowledge of the collectibles industry – we'll teach you what you need to know. What matters is your drive to learn, develop and succeed.
