Responsibilities
- Build trusting relationships with children, understanding their individual needs and preferences.
- Assist in implementing personalized care plans to support each child's emotional, social, and developmental growth.
- Support children with daily activities such as play, learning, and personal care routines.
- Maintain clear and open communication with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support.
- Drive children safely to appointments, activities, or outings as needed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records of progress, incidents, and care activities using IT systems designed for childcare management.
- Promote a positive environment by encouraging participation in group activities and fostering independence.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or support setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and team members.
- Valid driving license with experience driving safely in various conditions is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and the ability to create engaging activities aligned with individual needs.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans tailored to children's specific requirements.
- Proficiency in using IT tools for record-keeping, communication, and reporting purposes.
