Floor Supervisor – The Charlotte Arms

We’re looking for an experienced Floor Supervisor with strong leadership skills and a hands on approach to service to help lead our floor team.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the floor team, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the venue
- Lead from the front and maintain high standards across every shift
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance & direction where required & ensure all staff follow company procedures and policies
- Deliver excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for guest enquiries, feedback and complaints
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation across all guest-facing areas
- Carry out regular floor checks throughout the shift & take a practical approach to improving service delivery
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, stock control and venue security when required
- Support the recruitment, induction, training and development of new and existing team members
- Work closely with the management team, bar team and wider venue staff to ensure smooth daily operations and events
- Encourage and support the team with upselling to maximise revenue
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or senior front of house role within a busy bar, restaurant or late-night venue
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
- A hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience with cash handling, opening and closing procedures and stock control
- Good problem solving skills and the confidence to handle guest concerns professionally
- A flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and late nights
