Registered Manager – Children’s Home (Learning Disabilities)
Boothville, Northampton.
We are looking for a caring, supportive, and resilient Registered Manager to lead our new children’s home which specialises in supporting children with significant learning disabilities including conditions on the Autistic Spectrum, and associated communication difficulties and complex behaviours.

About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and management of the home, ensuring high standards of care and full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes legislation.
You will lead and develop a staff team to deliver person-centred care, promote positive outcomes, and maintain a strong safeguarding culture across the service.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is:
- Experienced and knowledgeable within children’s residential care, particularly supporting children with learning disabilities
- A confident and resilient leader with proven management skills
- Passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Able to lead by example, supporting and developing a high-performing team
- Committed to delivering outstanding care and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ residential childcare experience within the last 5 years
- Experience in a management role, having held a registration previously
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities and complex behaviours
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required for on-call duties)
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or Ofsted recognised equivalent)
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
