Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily restaurant or bar operations, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Support food preparation and cooking processes to uphold quality standards and consistency
- Oversee bartending activities, including drink mixing, presentation, and adherence to alcohol service laws
- Lead and motivate team members by providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and service areas
- Manage food production workflows to optimize efficiency during busy periods
- Serve as a point of contact for guest inquiries or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients, beverages, and supplies
- Assist in training new staff on hospitality best practices, food handling, and customer service skills
Experience
- Proven supervising or managerial experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, bartending, or culinary arts
- Experience with food safety protocols and maintaining hygiene standards in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment
- Familiarity with restaurant operations including serving techniques, food production processes, and hospitality principles
- Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not required
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
