Osborne of Ilkeston Ltd is a bespoke furniture manufacturer based in Derbyshire. An exciting opportunity for a bench hand joiner has arisen within our company. As a bench hand joiner you will be required to manufacture a wide range of bespoke furniture using a range of materials from timber, sheet material and veneers. You will be required to ensure all goods are manufactured to a high standard to meet our customers’ expectations
The ideal candidate will be experienced, highly skilled, have an eye for detail and desire to produce high quality cabinetry.
A very important aspect of the job is teamwork as you will be working with other colleagues within our facility; therefore cooperation as well being able to take instruction and listen to others is an important requirement for the job.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Working Hours - Monday to Friday 7am till 4:30pm
Bench Hand Joiners Requirements
- Full time - Permanent position
- To be able to produce high quality joinery products accurately to specification.
- To be able to read and understand CAD drawings and cutting lists.
- Have great attention to detail and have good previous experience in this field.
- To be skilled in working with MDF, MFC, Timber and Veneers
- To be able to use wood working machines.
- To be able to work as part of a team and under own initiative.
