Campervan Builder / Joiner / Vehicle Conversion Technician

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage (depending on age), with opportunities for progression.

Crafted Camper Co designs and builds beautiful, one-of-a-kind bespoke campervans. Every build is different, giving our team the opportunity to work on exciting projects where quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.
As our order book continues to grow, we’re looking for a practical, enthusiastic individual to join our workshop team in Huddersfield.
The Role
You’ll be involved in all aspects of building high-quality campervans, including:
- Joinery and cabinet installation
- Interior fit-outs
- Vehicle electrics (where appropriate)
- General assembly and finishing
- Working from drawings and build specifications
- Maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship
Every van we build is bespoke, so no two days are the same.
About You
Previous campervan conversion experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential.
We’re keen to hear from applicants with transferable skills in areas such as:
- Joinery
- Carpentry
- Cabinet making
- Vehicle conversions
- Auto electrics
- Welding and fabrication
- Product design
- Coachbuilding
- Manufacturing or workshop environments
The ideal candidate will:
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy practical, hands-on work
- Be reliable and eager to learn
- Work well as part of a small, friendly team
Full training will be provided for the right person.
