Come and join us as a CRM Stabilisation Transition Manager, and be part of something life‑changing - helping people with sight loss live the life they choose.
About the Role:
As a CRM Stabilisation Transition Manager at Guide Dogs, you’ll safeguard the continuity of Guide Dogs’ core supporter systems during a period of design and transition, leading the safe decommissioning of Guide Dogs' in-house business-critical integration hub, while strengthening and stabilising the connections with Salesforce, Agresso and other core systems. The Transition Manager will be an expert in managing large-scale technology transitions, operational change, and service continuity, with the ability to oversee complex dependencies, prioritise demand, and drive successful system decommissioning. Bring strong governance, stakeholder management, and risk assessment skills to ensure operational resilience and readiness for future transformation. Our CRM Stabilisation Transition Manager will play a huge part in ensuring everything we do enables us to deliver on our purpose and exceed expectations.
This is a hybrid role, combining both remote and office-based working. The successful candidate will be required to work from and have the ability to access our Leamington Spa, London, and Reading offices as business needs require. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply transition management and change planning to maintain service continuity, while using product management methods such as backlog ownership, demand control, and forward planning to coordinate and risk assess demand.
- Coordinate the assessment and management of operational impacts arising from CRM decommissioning, ensuring that dependencies, risks and readiness activities affecting Salesforce are identified and appropriately addressed by the Salesforce Platform Manager and other stakeholders.
- Establish technical control and governance around all change requests affecting data, processes, or development across the supporter systems landscape.
- Own the operational relationship with the IS helpdesk, ensuring consistent incident, problem, and request handling aligned to agreed service levels.
You'll have a structured and forward-thinking approach to managing complex technology transitions, service continuity, and operational change. You'll enjoy working in evolving environments, with a dedicated focus on demand management, governance, risk assessment, and cross-functional coordination, whilst being committed to maintaining business-critical services, reducing operational risk, and delivering successful transformation and decommissioning outcomes. You'll act with integrity and honesty in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies:
- Leading or contributing to service transition, change planning or release coordination (ideally aligned to ITIL).
- Managing stakeholder expectations, alignment, and communication across business and technical groups.
- Fundamentals of systems integration (data flows, upstream/downstream impacts, dependencies).
- Ability to design and implement new processes where none currently exist.
- Skilled at prioritising and sequencing work, balancing short-term continuity with long-term transition goals.
We wouldn’t be able to change the lives of people with sight loss without our people. That’s why it’s important for us to provide a variety of benefits that reward our colleagues in a way that suits them and recognises the hard work and contribution that they make.
