Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plumber and Bathroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that bathrooms and plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new constructions or renovation projects
- Fit bathrooms by installing bathtubs, sinks, toilets, showers, and related fixtures with precision and care
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, assemble, and secure plumbing components
- Perform welding tasks when necessary to join metal pipes or repair damaged sections
- Conduct inspections to identify leaks or faulty installations and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly
- Measure accurately using basic math skills to ensure proper fitting of fixtures and piping systems
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to bathroom fitting or structural adjustments as needed
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair activities in compliance with safety standards
- Operate commercial vehicles for transporting tools or materials between job sites when required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a plumber or bathroom fitter with a strong mechanical aptitude
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Solid understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices in installation and repair
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
- Knowledge of carpentry principles relevant to bathroom fitting projects
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during installation or maintenance tasks
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of plumbing work
