We are looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join our busy team. The successful applicant will primarily be based in our Cheltenham office. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a wealth of experience working within a Financial Planning firm and is looking for a position in a strong, secure, and flexible working environment. Industry knowledge and experience is essential.
Role and Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Paraplanners and Financial Planners to ensure the smooth running of the teams and to provide an excellent service to our clients.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- To support the Financial Planners and Paraplanners with day-to-day administrative tasks always maintaining clear communication.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure our back-office systems are updated.
- Liaising with clients as required by the Paraplanner and Financial Planner, assisting with enquiries in a timely manner and in adherence to our TCF requirements.
- Liaising with providers on various matters ensuring all information requested is received within the timescales set and checked for accuracy before passing to the Paraplanner.
- Compile enclosures for reports such as illustrations, key features and applications and send out client correspondence as needed.
- Processing new business and monitor through to completion.
- Assist your colleagues with answering the phones, ensuring they are answered within the required timescale.
The Individual
Due to the nature of the role and the industry, we are looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 2 years administration experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience working within an IFA firm (ideal)
- Exceptional organisational skills who is able to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- A strong work ethic and a flexible attitude
- A high level of accuracy
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Pay: £24,500.00-£34,000.00 per year
