Nestled in the heart of East London, The Dalston Lounge is a vibrant neighbourhood bar where craft cocktails meet eclectic music and culture. We are currently looking for an experienced Bartender / Bar Supervisor who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in their craft, and can step up to guide the team during busy shifts.
Key ResponsibilitiesBartending & Service
- Craft classic and signature cocktails with speed, precision, and consistency.
- Provide warm, attentive, and efficient customer service at the bar and service station.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar before, during, and after service.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
Supervisory Duties
- Oversee shift operations from Wednesday through Sunday, ensuring smooth service flow.
- Lead by example, supporting bar staff and floor team during high-volume periods.
- Handle opening and/or closing duties, including venue lock-up.
- Help monitor stock levels, manage prep lists, and ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
Requirements
- Availability: Must be consistently available to work Wednesday through Sunday (including night shifts).
- Cocktail Mastery: Proven experience crafting a wide variety of cocktails confidently and efficiently.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Bartender required; previous shift supervisor or lead experience is a strong plus.
- Certifications: Valid local alcohol service permit / licensing (e.g., Personal Licence, TIPS, or regional equivalent).
- Skills: Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items (kegs/crates), and work late-night hours.
