An opportunity has arisen for a highly qualified Sexual Health Nurse to apply for the role of Team Leader for Central and West Lancashire localities Sexual Health Services. This is permanent post, hours will be the candidates current substantive hours, days and times will be negotiated with the successful candidate following interview. The successful applicant will work alongside another Team Leader in a job sharing role providing leadership across the 2 localities. The service is open 6 days a week Monday- Saturday. Clinics are run from sites across Central and West Lancashire.
The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, delivery and development of the Sexual Health Nursing team. They will undertake nurse led clinics in Contraception and GUM

The role will include
Day to day management of the service
Planning Service Delivery
Management o Staff Attendance (Sickness / Annual Leave) and Performance Issues
1:1’s & appraisal’s for direct reports and ensure that there is a robust mechanism in place for the rest of team.
Support the management of the Sexual Health budget
Management of incidents/ complaints
Review and report against service KPI’s and Audits
To provide clinical management of patients with contraceptive, genito-urinary or sexual health conditions whilst working autonomously but in collaboration with other health professionals
