About This Opportunity
Are you data-curious, ambitious, and ready to kickstart your career in technology? This apprenticeship could be the perfect launchpad.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Technology Operations Team as an Apprentice Technology Operations Advisor, while completing a fully funded Level 3 Data Analysis Apprenticeship. You’ll earn a real salary, gain hands-on operational experience, and graduate with an industry-recognised qualification — all at the same time.
No prior experience is needed. We’re investing in you from day one — all we ask is that you bring the right attitude, a genuine curiosity for technology and data, and a willingness to learn.
The Apprenticeship
As part of this role, you will complete a Level 3 Data Analysis Apprenticeship, giving you a structured grounding in:
- Data analysis principles and techniques
- Working with data tools and software to extract meaningful insight
- Understanding and interpreting datasets to support business decisions
- Data quality, governance, and security
- Presenting findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Your apprenticeship training will run alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, and you’ll be supported throughout by your team and a dedicated apprenticeship provider. You’ll typically spend around 20% of your working time on off-the-job learning.
The Role
You’ll be working within our Technology Operations Team, playing an important role in keeping our clients’ operations running smoothly. As an Apprentice Technology Operations Advisor, you’ll support the delivery of technical solutions and operational processes that businesses around the world depend on every day.
Your responsibilities will develop steadily as your confidence and skills grow:
Early days:
- Shadowing experienced advisors and getting to grips with our systems and operational processes
- Handling straightforward client queries with support from the team
- Getting familiar with our internal software, SQL Server, and reporting tools
Building confidence:
- Supporting clients via telephone, email, and live chat with operational and technical queries
- Contributing to software testing and quality checks
- Applying your developing data skills to operational reporting and client queries
Growing independence:
- Diagnosing and resolving more complex operational and technical issues
- Using data analysis techniques to identify trends and help drive operational improvements
- Communicating directly with clients and becoming a trusted member of the operations team
What We’re Looking For
We’re not looking for the finished article — we’re looking for the right person. You’ll be a great fit if you can show:
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology and data, and a hunger to learn
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and a pride in delivering quality work
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively
- A warm, calm manner when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Flexibility around working hours — occasional evenings
Technical Skills
Don’t worry if you haven’t used these before — full training will be provided. Any familiarity is a bonus, not a requirement:
- Basic understanding of data, spreadsheets, or databases
- Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Any exposure to SQL or relational databases is a plus
