We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a well-established Supported Living service in North Essex, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives.

The Role
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational leadership, quality, compliance and performance of the service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strong, visible leadership to support and inspire your team.
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the Supported Living service.
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and best practice standards.
- Promoting person-centred support that encourages independence, choice and positive outcomes.
- Recruiting, developing and retaining a high-performing care team.
- Overseeing training, supervision, performance management and staff development.
- Maintaining high standards of care planning, risk management and record keeping.
- Building effective relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring service quality through audits, action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Managing budgets, staffing levels and resources effectively.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and values-driven culture across the service.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or significant experience as a Deputy Manager within a supported living, learning disability or adult social care setting.
- Proven experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex needs.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards it.
- A nursing qualification or clinical background (desirable).
- A genuine passion for improving the lives of the people you support.
