Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Customer Service & Accounts Assistant to join our team and support our transport office.
The Role
This role will support the day-to-day running of our office, helping with customer enquiries, administration, and invoice organisation. You will work closely with the transport team and accounts to ensure customers receive a professional and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Providing updates on deliveries and resolving customer queries.
- Supporting the transport team with customer communication.
- Filing and organising invoices and assisting with account documentation.
- Maintaining accurate customer and delivery records.
- Assisting with general office administration, including insurance claims for freight.
- Supporting the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or logistics preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
